30 Day Review:
Throughout the past month, ISI Water Chemistries has been working with a large plastics manufacturer to improve water treatment in their cooling system, including the B11 Chiller Cooling Tower, and the B11 Chilled Water. Already, drastic improvements have been made in the cooling tower water, including significant decreases in dissolved metals, and large changes in turbidity and improved clarity. Improvements, and the important future steps to further optimize the cooling tower water treatment program are highlighted in the document below.
Chilled water treatment has shown marked improvement as well, including drops in dissolved metals, and turbidity changes. More time is still needed however, to identify the best course of action and truly understand the ideal way to treat this system. Advancements in treatment, and future plans for this system are outlined in the document below.

Dip Slides
Images below show the before and after of the Lifetime B11 Chiller Tower water dip slides. As can be seen the number of colony forming units per milliliter (CFU/mL) are significantly reduced. These results were achieved by administering ProMossTM only, without any chemical biocides whatsoever.
The significant reduction of CFU/mL indicates that the ProMossTM is actively working to prevent organic contamination. Reduction of organic contamination will prevent fouling of systems due to growth, increase heat transfer efficiency, and reduce microbiological induced corrosion (MIC).
Before (4/27/19)
104 CFU/mL
After (9/25/19)
<102 CFU/mL
