SpaNaturally® Start-Up
Step 1: Cleaning your spa
Spa filter. Remove the spa filter. A new filter is recommended if you are using SpaNaturally for the first time. Otherwise, clean your filter according to manufacturer’s recommendation. We recommend using Eco Soak™ filter cleaner.
Spa pipes. Use Spa System Flush™ to clean your spa’s pipes following the instructions on the bottle. The overnight procedure is recommended. Drain flush water.
Spa surfaces. Wipe spa surfaces clean with your favorite spa cleanser. Rinse spa with fresh water and drain.
Step 2: Filling your spa
Install spa filter.
Refill your spa.
Connect the reusable (up to 4,500 gallons) StartNaturally® filter to a garden hose. Run water through the filter for two minutes, not in the spa, to remove small, black particles from the filter.
Place StartNaturally® filter in a plastic bag and refrigerate. Use it each time you add water to your spa. Store for up to one year, good for 4,500 gallons.
Step 3: Starting your spa
SpaNaturally refills.
Remove SpaNaturally® refills from the package. Place the blue SpaNaturally refill bag into the blue dispenser. With exposure to water, the SpaNaturally refill will expand and fill the dispenser. Place the dispenser in your spa.
This free-floating dispenser is for use in the spa that doesn’t have a skimmer basket or filter bay in which to place SpaNaturally refills. Fully extend the dispenser, insert one SpaNaturally refill and place the dispenser in the spa water. Set aside the dispenser when enjoying your spa and remember to put it back into the water when you are done!
Heat water and balance pH and alkalinity.
SpaNaturally is compatible with most sanitizers.
